DaedhirUI 3.0 released.

I've been spending some time tweaking the UI and improving the graphics, and things really started coming together once I was able to get into the beta. I've been working on some addons of my own lately, one of which I'm including in the UI -- it's a mod that makes nice round 3D portraits for the player and target frames, and has some extra functionality that the default unit frames have -- an icon that denotes combat or resting, and the character's level. They also let you know if your toon has any debuffs that you can dispel by putting a small icon over the area where the player's level usually is. It's called Round3DPortraits.

I've really been having fun playing with the UI in the Cataclysm beta, and I hope you enjoy the changes now that the Big Patch™ is here. ;) Without further ado...

DaedhirUI 3.0 for World of Warcraft 4.0.1 is now available.

It works with the patch that's coming out today, and will work with the Cataclysm expansion.

I'll try to issue a maintenance release with updated addons as they come in. Once the patches hit the developers usually try to make more time to update their addons, so it shouldn't take too long.

Please read the enclosed documentation as usual, and as with any major UI release, I recommend reinstalling the UI. Don't forget to back up your stuff!

Enjoy!

Awesome, thanks for the update! Can't wait to try it out when I get home :)

Looks like maintenance is extended again, so no rush. ;)

Great as always. You still planning to use Grid when it's updated?

Got it hooked up and runs like a dream. Still getting used to not having OMGBuffs, but the new one seems pretty cool.

Thanks again for such a clean, neat UI option!

Glad it's working for you, Kimber.

ZOMGBuffs was great. But unfortunately the author of the addon looks to have abandoned it, and buff addons are some of the less tolerant ones when it comes to big patches like this one. SmartBuff is almost as good, and is actively maintained, so I'm sticking with that for now. If the ZOMG author does eventually get back to it, I might switch back.

Trunks, yeah, I'm planning to get Grid back in action as soon as I can. I downloaded an alpha version last night that I'm going to raid with tonight to see how it goes. They've switched their stuff over to Ace3 finally, so I think it's going to be nice.

As I expected, there were lots of addon updates yesterday. ATSW is back in action, thank the Light. I hope to be able to get an update to the UI out within the next few days with more of the missing addons.

I'm also thinking of switching to Auctionator instead of Auctioneer. Anybody have any experience with it that would like to comment?
